Printmaking
I was reintroduced to all things printmaking during my studies at the University of Oregon. Linoleum, woodcut, etching, monotype, and screenprint—Emphasis on screenprint. I fell in love again with one of the first forms of art I ever learned, printmaking.

I stained my paper with 2-3 layers of black tea. Stained 14 pages for my final prints.

And where it all ended up. There's a second version of each print underneath what is photographed. I did that for my own sake of not having to commit to one layout and also so installations could be mixed between both versions.

"Call Sign" 2023, screenprint.
"Alpha" 2023. I wanted my images to embody the growing prominence of AI in our society. With a single layer, gradients, and a halftone, I feel I was able to channel multiple early art eras while questioning what dimension these prints fall into.
